Getting ready to take my NGH certification test

    Saturday, December 1, 2007, 01:10 AM [General]

    Hello Everyone

Sorry I haven't been around much, but I have been pretty busy in my personal life dealing with some real estate issues from my main job. I'm just writing to let everyone know that next week I will be taking my National Guild of Hypnotist certification test. I have been waiting for this day for a while now and it's finally here. I know I'm going to do great on the test. My teacher and fellow students keep telling me I appear to have a natural gift for hypnosis. I got to learn to accept comment better and stop being so modest some times. In my eyes I just see myself as just another hypnotist learning the ropes, but I guess the old saying is true.

If someone sees it within you, then it may be their.  Once I get my National Guild of Hypnotist certification out of the way I got to start trying to find me a cheap hypno chair. I also can't wait to pick up a few training dvd's from Cal's Mall and a few from Gerald Kein. I'm also currently working on building my website for my practice. So I got a lot of great things going on and I can't wait to start changing lives. Well I will keep everyone up to date with my test and i'll talk to all of you later.

Congratulations Josh, I'm sure you will pass the test, no problem!

re: cheep hypno chair - i dont know how close you are to an IKEA but here is a nice chair of theirs that I use with a matching foot-stool, clients seem to like it:

The nice thing about this chair is that it can be rocked slightly back-and-forth, which can be useful sometimes. for example this week on a fear of flying client I sneakily rocked and shook the chair in order to simulate plane taking off, during age progression. Only downside is that very tall or big people may have a bit of trouble with it, and max weight capacity is around 350 lbs.

Hey you know what else is great hypno investment? A cheep set of black polyester ties! After all, the best thing about this work is not that we can help lots of people... it's that we can wear the same outfit every day and no one notices! These ties are so durable and cheep that you can get one for every day of the week:

    Hey Steve

Thanks for the great tip on the hypno chair. That chair is right in my price range too! Thanks for the advice on the ties. It's funny you said that because my dad was asking me what do hypnotist wear? I responded with a joke and said the same thing everyday. lol

Once again thanks for the advice Steve
